ALBION IS, WAS and WILL BE
Produced in 1977, by the Albion Bolton Historical Society, this movie is based on photographic records of the settlement of Albion and Bolton, photographs which later became the foundation of the Society’s extensive image collection. The movie was the first of its kind ever produced by a historical society in Ontario and was directed by Neil Anderson.
With narration by Dr. Bob Williams, the movie documents Albion’s history prior to pioneer settlement and then chronicles the area’s growth after 1819. Local residents and historical experts providing commentary include David McFall, William Downey, Beryl Goodfellow, Murray Hesp and Bert Schaefer.
